If you have been waiting for long to experience USB 3.0 speed, you now have an option at hand. Toshiba has announced its Canvio 3.0 Portable Hard Drive product lineup in India. Coming in two capacities - 500 GB & 1 TB - the drives are compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.
Each Canvio 3.0 Portable Hard Drive includes an internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology to help keep the drive safe. It also has NTI� Backup Now EZ™ software which scans the system and recommends the best coverage for computer.
There is also a restore button that helps one recover a file or folder. If a user chooses to boot to Canvio 3.0 Portable Hard Drive, it will restore all the files saved on the computer. The backup files can be secured with password-protected data encryption to help prevent unauthorised access.
